Galveston Island Mini-Vaca 2008.

there is so much to write about but I'm still trying to catch up on rest! We spent Thursday @ Nasa and then headed down to Galvestion Island. The boys had a blast and so did we. For now, here are some pictures. Check back tomorrow for stories from our adventure!

This place knows how to suck the life out of you! When you arrive you have at least an hour wait. What else are you to do beside take a river adventure ride @$6 a person! That river ride then ends and drops you into Build a Bear inside the Cafe. Oh the fun that was had!

yet another typical summer day here,

105 degrees - a
no rain - a
hyper boys - a

the boys are in LOVE with Miss Shelby, their sitter. They don't want her to leave & ask all afternoon if she's coming back. As guilty as I feel for working sometimes, I think it's a good break for all of us. Our afternoons are so nice with me spending my mornings busy and with adults.

the boys spent all afternoon trying to master their boggie boards for when we hit the beach. they can't wait to ride the waves! they are my children as they LOVE the water & don't care for the snow.

after a long, hot day in the sun, they love their treehouse. this has been my best $100 investment thus far for them. I can't wait until the weather is a little cooler at night so they can camp out back there.

fun in the sun.

this is the offical start to summer for us. it's the 1st week I didn't have to rip the kids out of bed & have them be some where at 8AM.

and the question of the summer, who's who? can you tell them apart?
Photobucket
notice our NEW playscape that I scored for $100?!?!?!????

will a little closer help?

I spent all my time setting up the slip n' slide only to discover this was so much more fun for them:
